 We the People Competition Minimize

On February 22, U.S. Government students from SSHS participated in the yearly We the People competition at the state capitol. The competition, sponsored by the Center for Civic Education, required students to prepare essays on specific Constitutional issues and then read their essays in front of a panel of judges. The judges then asked follow-up questions to assess students’ comprehension of their assigned topics. Our students performed admirably under pressure; we are very proud of them!

Senior Portraits

Senior portraits must be turned into the yearbook by the end of January.  An electronic copy on CD or through email is best, but we can also scan a hard copy.   If a portrait is not turned in by this date, the yearbook staff will use the portrait that was taken by Lifetouch Photography at the beginning of the school year.  Please call Katrina Stout with any questions.
