The Family Resource Center
The Russell Family Resource Center is a place where students, parents, community members and employees can find family-centered activities and resources that encourage parent and family involvement in Russell School. Staffed by Kelly Kopitzke, a Family Resource Specialist, the Center organizes activities such as literacy lunches, tutoring assistance, visits with principals', newsletters and more. The programs work to enhance and empower families and neighborhoods, teach leadership skills, provide support for at-risk youth and families, and reduce the need for preventive services in the community.
We hope you will stop by and visit the Russell Family Resource Center. Be sure to read the school newsletter for FRC news and a calendar of events. For more information about the FRC, call 728-2400, ext. 4846, or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
