Ecology Project International (EPI) is offering an international field ecology programs to students at Big Sky High School.
Costa Rica Sea Turtle Ecology Program: While on-course, students will monitor a population of critically endangered
leatherback sea turtles on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica in collaboration with sea turtle biologists and local
Costa Rican communities. The program also involves research and reforestation projects in the Costa Rican tropical
lowland rainforest. Travel abroad, immerse yourself in another culture, work hands-on with one of the largest reptiles
on the planet, and sleep in rainforest bungalows while sloths, howler monkeys, and parrots play in the canopy overhead.
