Regular Monthly Meeting Schedule: The Missoula County Public Schools’ Board of Trustees generally meets on the second Tuesday of every month at 6 p.m. The meeting is normally held at the Business Building, 915 South Avenue West, but periodically the location varies. Committee Meetings: The Board of Trustees has three main committees that meet monthly. The meeting locations and dates for these committees are fairly regular, but subject to change when impacted by holidays or other conflicts. Generally, committees meet at the following times, but anyone wishing to attend these meetings should confirm dates and times on the Public Notice webpage:
- Teaching and Learning (T & L) Committee - meets first Monday of the month, Noon, Administration Building, 215 South Sixth West. Committee Chair: Joe Toth.
- Finance and Operations (F& O) Committee - meets 4th Wednesday of the month, 6 p.m., Business Building, 915 South Avenue West. Committee Chair: Drake Lemm.
- Personnel, Negotiations and Policy (PN&P) Committee - meets last Wednesday of the month, Noon, Administration Building, 215 South Sixth West. Committee Chair: Scott Bixler.
Meeting Agendas and Minutes: An agenda and supplemental materials can be obtained 48 hours in advance of any public meeting. Agendas are available on the public notice webpage or by contacting Carol White, Superintendent's Secretary, at the Administration Building, 215 S. Sixth West in Missoula, 728-2400, ext. 1023. Agendas are also available at each meeting. Agendas and minutes from past meetings can also be obtained from the archives webpage.
Public Comment: The public is welcome to comment on any item that is not on the agenda during the designated "public comment" section of the agenda. The Board chairperson will call for public comment on action items of the board when the item is up for discussion. Generally, a three-minute time limit per speaker applies and all speakers should sign in for the record.
