Students who live outside of the MCPS' elementary or secondary boundaries must pay out-of-district tuition fees to attend an MCPS school. Fees (per student) are as follows:
| 2010-2011 School Year |
2012-2013 School Year |
| |
|
| Full Day Kindergarten through Grade 8 $991.00 |
Full Day Kindergarten through Grade 8 $1,015.00
|
| Grades 9-12 $1,268.60 |
Grades 9-12 $1,299.40 |
To enroll an out-of-district student(s), parents should contact the MCPS school directly to get an idea if there will be room for the student in a specific grade. Prior to enrolling the student, however, parents should complete and sign a tuition payment agreement and a student attendance agreement. These agreements are available from Dan Parrish, District Accounting Specialist, at 728-2400, ext. 3031 or at dparrish@mcps.k12.mt.us. His office is located in the District's Business Building at 915 South Avenue West in Missoula.
No school-sponsored transportation is available to students that live outside of district boundaries; parents and/or students are responsible for providing their own transportation to and from school.
A student who lives outside of the district's boundaries and who has been suspended or expelled from another school district is not allowed to enroll in a MCPS school while still under the suspension or expulsion. For additional information, contact Dan Parrish.
