AYP Status of MCPS Schools

 

The Montana Office of Public Instruction determines which districts and individual schools make Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) each year based on a statewide achievement test that meets the federal No Child Left Behind requirements.

Testing Schedule
All MCPS students participate in a comprehensive assessment program that includes the MontCAS Criterion Referenced Tests (statewide assessments based on state standards), and district reading, writing, math, and health enhancement assessments.
