MCPS offers innovative, multi-disciplinary, K-12 curricula based on research-based best practices and supporting the needs of all students, including at-risk, bilingual and Native American students. AYP Status of MCPS Schools

 

The Montana Office of Public Instruction determines which districts and individual schools make Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) each year based on a statewide achievement test that meets the federal No Child Left Behind requirements.

Testing Schedule
All MCPS students participate in a comprehensive assessment program that includes the MontCAS Criterion Referenced Tests (statewide assessments based on state standards), and district reading, writing, math, and health enhancement assessments.
