This course will further develop skills and concepts introduced in Painting 1.  Students will study advanced techniques in the use of oil, tempera, egg tempera and acrylic paint, watercolor and mixed media.  Through the use of color theory and mixing techniques, students will be able to paint in a variety of styles.  Students will receive an in depth historical overview of art masters, movements, and cultures with an emphasis on contemporary art.
For grades 10, 11 and 12.
