At Russell School, we serve about 360 students in grades K-5, and our mission is to ensure that each student achieves his/her full and unique potential. Our current principal, Mrs. Cindy Christensen, came to Russell in the fall of 2009. The school, which was built in 1960, is located in central Missoula. Russell School was named after Charles Marion Russell, a Montana painter and sculptor who is famous for his paintings of the old West.
