CREATE Missoula is a festival of creativity for the Missoula community. It’s a community of creative individuals “Sharing What We Love To Do” with everyone else. The festival will be held Sunday, April 15 through Saturday, April 21. Events are as varied as the creativity of Missoula’s citizens.
Schedule of Events
Venues are scattered throughout the city from business storefronts to school auditoriums, Missoula Children’s Theatre and The University of Montana. More than 75 entries cover artistic interests in visual arts, dramatic readings, poetry, rock bands, jazz bands, folk music, choruses, dance, story-telling and much more.
The amazing thing about the festival is the incredible high quality and stunning diversity of events. We’ve purposefully made the cost of attending festival events affordable for everyone. We want Missoulians to come to several events and enjoy the benefits of living in such a dynamic city. You won’t believe what you’re going to experience.
Drop by one of the art venues or come in to hear some great poetry and story-telling – some of which is backed up by incredible music. Listen to single voices singing blues, country or folk music. There will also be vocal duets, quartets, ensembles and choirs from youngsters to senior citizens. If instrumental music is more to your liking your options will be everything from classical piano to African drums. The craftsmanship of their product will leave you feeling better about your world.
Thank you to our CREATE Missoula sponsors: Missoulian Newspaper, Mountain FM 102.5 and Townsquare Media.
